Are you prepared to get hit by a bus today?

For starters - your chances of getting hit by a bus today are not high. There are only around 300 pedestrian traffic collisions daily in the US which leaves you at a one in a million chance of getting struck by a vehicle today (slightly higher than winning the mega-millions jackpot, but still highly unlikely) - but that is besides the point. I read a disturbing article in the WSJ this morning that cited a rise in employees investing their 401(k) dollars in their own firm. As I stated a couple months ago, this is a VERY BAD IDEA because you do not want your 401(k) returns to be highly correlated with your employment and pay increases.
