I think the clearest while lying in bed

May 21st, 2009 by Brad Harbach   1 Comment »

Twenty Something life often is very busy and I rarely find myself sitting around with free time on my hands.  Each week is filled end-to-end with work, hobbies, friends and family - at times it can all become a little hectic.  The only time during the week that everything stops spinning around me and life comes to a pause is at night while I’m lying in bed staring at the ceiling.

April 4th, 2009 by Will Crowthers   2 Comments »

This question has lingered in my head for years and I am still baffled by the thought that almost no one is taught basic personal finance from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Think about it, where did you learn how to save money? How did you learn what a 401(k) was? Who told you about credit cards and how they actually work? When did you learn to budget or balance a check book? Chances are all of these are answered with things…
