The Art of Thank You – A Guide to Giving Gratitude
There are many things that have changed drastically with the technological advancements of today’s world. We no longer meet face to face, we have conversations with strangers over the web and we often times send a pre-formated electronic card without even reading it. This Art of Thank You is about restoring the simple act of thanking someone for something you appreciate.
Not to long ago, writing a thank you card was something that was practiced by those of all ages and it was not just done because it was expected. Writing a thank you card was something that people took pride in. Today this has changed, we are reliant on the web and electronics to do everything for us. We can even have websites automatically send cards for us so that we don’t forget!
There is one thing that has not changed over the years and that is on the receiving end. There is nothing like receiving a hand-written thoughtful thank you note. Even more so in today’s world, the hand-written note or card gets even greater appreciation. So … where did we lose The Art of Thank You?
