I really enjoyed the visual tutorial and I think that archiving will serve to better manage my cluttered and immense inbox. In addition, I wanted to alert everyone to the “labels” button which will allow you to designate emails in a folder style fashion. Simply click on an email and at the top select “labels.” From here you can label the email as “work,” “jokes,” “misc.” I find this to be another great way to manage your gmail account.

Oh, and Lindsay says use labels, that way you can have customer flags depending on what kind of follow-up, or important FYI, the email pertains to.
