What is your Financial IQ?
I found this test on MSN which is a series of 25 questions to give you a “financial IQ”. The questions range from discretionary to intermediate – be very truthful when answering the questions.
At the end, it will give you a score and allow you to compare to others. I found the results by age to be interesting:
Age Score
| 15-24 | 51 |
| 25-34 | 54 |
| 35-54 | 55 |
| 55-64 | 53 |
| 65 and over | 53 |
It looks like age is not a factor. I find this particularly thought provoking as almost everyone assumes financial advisers, investors, etc should be older and because of this, they are more knowledgeable.
Hopefully between Brad and I we have assisted you with some of these questions or at a minimum the test will open your eyes to some areas where you may need to do a little more studying.
What areas surprised you the most? Did the IQ test spur any topics of interest or questions?

I got a 60.
