The Millionaire Next Door – Book Review
There are numerous sources we read to fill our brains with all things finance – Newspapers, Magazines, Websites, Blogs, Conversations, and most importantly Books. Books provide unmatched depth that you can’t find in other information mediums.
The Millionaire Next Door
Popular media paints a false impression of what it takes to get rich. On TV and in the news all of the rich drive fancy cars, live in luxurious mansions, and hardly ever work. We’ve been tricked to believe that those who look and act like millionaires are in fact millionaires. This flies right in the face of conventional wisdom, as fundamentally the easiest way to accumulate wealth and become a millionaire is to spend less not more. The Millionaire Next Door shares the knowledge gained by twenty years of interviewing members of the elite millionaire club. Their results show that the average millionaire is not the one from TV. Becoming a millionaire requires sacrifice, discipline, and hard work. The book is a great read and should be required reading for all. Enjoy.
